This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are energetic and eager to learn. They are sweet, kind and helpful. They love to talk, play, draw and write. They enjoy using manipulatives to count and create.
My Kindergarten students deserve to have the best school experience during this very unique and challenging time.
My Project
This school year will be unlike any other. For many of my Kindergarten students, this is their first school experience. Although our classroom has become a Google Meet, I would like for them to have the same materials at home that I would provide for them in the traditional classroom setting.
Whether in the classroom or online, these materials will help my students complete their daily assignments.
They will use the dry erase boards for daily practice of writing letters, numbers and words. They will use the markers, crayons, pencils, paper and notebooks to complete daily journal writing. They will use the Sight Word journals to learn new words to include in their writing.
