This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are bright, caring, and creative. They are performing art students who love the opportunity to learn new things and grow. Our math classroom, when together consists of model examples, guided notes, hands-on activities, and real-world applications. Due to Covid-19, our instruction has become a mixture of hybrid and fully remote instructions. Due to the lack of technology, I had to get creative in how I deliver my lessons. In an effort to positively encourage and teach my students I realized I'm going to need some support.

My students are visual learners who need to see step by step instructions.

I knew that an iPad and its accessories could help me grow as an educator. With the addition of technology, I can help my students tap into the endless opportunities which will overall benefit their learning experiences.

My Project

This year, students will be learning from home and the technology I'm requesting will support me in creating and delivering high-quality instructional videos for them. With the use of the Apple Pencil, I'll be able to demonstrate step by step mathematical equations for my students to follow along.

I can create a better math experience with this iPad because it can display a clear visual alongside detailed instructions for my students to be engaged in.

This technology will enhance my remote instruction as it can reach more students of varying needs.
