My Students

My students attend a public elementary school in Illinois where 100% of our students come from low income households. As we adjust to remote learning this year, I would like for my students to be able to start off the year running with all the gear they need to learn best remotely.

My Project

This year's current events are changing seemingly everything about we know about education. In addition to that, I am adapting to teaching a new grade level.

I am excited to take these changes head on, and attempt to make this transition easier on my students and their families.

This gift card will help me build my curriculum quickly, in order to give students a smooth and easy transition, and to make them feel comfortable and confident in remote learning. Teachers Pay Teachers offers a never ending variety of lessons across all grade levels, and many of them are already adapted or created for remote learning.
