We are a small rural school district. We work hard to provide opportunities for our students that meet all of their needs, both academically and social-emotionally.
All of my students have disabilities or need increased levels of academic support and they are absolutely incredible.
They come to my room for extra support on top of their typical classes. These students don't let the increased work deter them, they continue to rise to the daily challenges. They benefit greatly from small group pre-teach and re-teach.
My Project
My students all have various struggles. Some have a hard time with reading and writing while others struggle more with memory and processing. I would love a fun way to review content and skills my students need for all of their academic classes as well as a fun way to prepare for State Testing.
Testing is stressful for my students, review that is interactive and different will help alleviate that stress.
The invisible pens, plates, cups, and cloth tape will be a way to create stations and activities throughout the classroom for students to complete activities using content vocabulary and multi-step problems.
