Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Paper and pen are great, laptops too but finding a way to merge both would be a great tool in the classroom. I've seen a need for some of our students who prefer hand writing their notes and end up having to either scan, take a picture or retype their notes later on. This tablet will help students who prefer to write seamlessly transfer their notes to a digital form. It will be a way for them to stay organized and not risk losing paper notes by having them saved in one central location. This gives students in our community an opportunity to be ahead of the game when they reach the next steps in their post high school careers. Being an urban high school we attempt to provide our students with any and every advantage. Helping them better organize their notes is an amazing place to start.
