My Project

These books will compliment existing non-fiction and informational books in the library. Students will have to option to view these materials in the library for research projects that are collaborative between myself and their classroom teacher. One goal for these materials is to use them in a project with 4th or 5th graders about the National Parks system. Other projects include informational research projects on animals and people.

Students need high quality reference and informational texts from trusted sources to guide their research.

These materials will help students learn to search through, read informational texts, and summarize the information. They will also learn how to properly quote and cite information from a text source.
