This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am honored and privileged to teach 30 energetic and amazing kindergarten students every day! My students come from hardworking, caring families who may not be able to afford a variety of books and expensive educational materials for their children. In spite of these circumstances, my students come to school excited and eager to learn everything they can!

My students are eager to become expert readers, writers, and learners as well as enthusiastic about making friends and developing positive social skills.

My Project

My kindergarten students are curious, energetic, and need to move frequently. Many of my students are also dealing with anxiety and stress, due to the many unknowns of this ongoing pandemic.

I would love to give my students some extra tools to help their social-emotional well-being and ease their anxiety.

The Chair Bands for Kids with Fidgety Feet would allow my children to move their feet and bounce their legs as needed to relieve stress without distracting their classmates.

The BeYumi Marble Fidget Toys and The Liquid Motion Bubbler Oil Drip Sensory Fidget Toys would allow my students to ease their anxiety and relieve their stress. These fidget toys are durable, will keep my students fingers busy to help keep them calm, and are also fun and relaxing.
