Help me give my students flexible seating opportunities to release their energy in a structured, creative way, so that they can have better focus and concentration.
My students are the future us! They are future doctors, veterinarians, teachers, chefs, engineers, police officers, nurses and so much more!
The students in my classroom come from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Each of these makes my class so unique. But more importantly, each of my students come to school eager to learn, in a class where everyone is celebrated and treated like family. My students love to learn and gain new knowledge. They all learn differently and have different learning styles. They all have lots of energy. Having an outlet to use up some of this energy in a creative way will not only excite them, but will give them more focus! More focus will be key in listening, learning and producing quality work.
My Project
Learning is very important, especially in Kindergarten. Kindergarten learning is the foundation and building blocks of what is to come in other grades. Insuring all students can stay focused and learn is key. However, we all know that kindergarten students have lots of energy. Having options to release this energy within the classroom in a creative and fun way would in turn improve a students focus, concentration and learning! Recess is also another great way to burn off energy. However, we are only allowed to go for 15 minutes a day. That is not nearly enough time for our kindergarten students. Having access to wobble chairs, balance balls, and a trampoline are fun ways to still move and get out energy and learn at the same time! This project is listed under special needs but benefits ALL subject areas! Please consider donating to help students stay focused within the classroom and learn all that they can!
