My Students

All the students are special! They all have different needs so I do what I can to make connections with them and do my best to relate to each one specifically. I will see every student in the school so I need to find ways that I can help each student feel successful. The focus of my class is to find ways to help them with social emotional skills. I have started using mindfulness and would like to also use yoga in the classroom to help them relax their constantly working brains.

My Project

Students have so much happening in their brains that they don't even realize how stressed out they are until its too late and they explode! Focusing their brains through yoga and meditation will help them relax their brains and be able to focus better for their classes. My class helps them learn different techniques to help them be successful learners and to deal with the stresses of life in a healthy way. Providing them with yoga mats will help them to feel special and also help them realize it is important to take care of your body and your mind.
