Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The outside world is chaotic and when you have autism, it is at times, very difficult to tune out the chaos. When you can't tune out the chaos, it's very difficult to focus and learn.

"If the ocean can calm itself, so can you"...by dimming the lights, blocking out of some of the fluorescent lighting, and having fidgets, my students can work to block out the chaos and work on calming themselves so they can better focus on our lessons.

Without the help of generous donors like yourselves, we would not be able to do what we do every day.
