My Project

The use of whiteboards in my classroom is a daily task, especially in my math class. Using the whiteboard, students come to the kidney table for guided practice and to record modeled strategies.

These materials give my students freedom to sit in different areas of the room to calm themselves and to help them learn to the best of their ability.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their behaviors and fluency.

Students will be able to simply focus because of having items for a calming area when they are upset or need a brain break in a calming area/sensory area.

Students will be able to sit on the carpet for morning meeting and complete assignments in an area that is calm and inviting.
