Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have an amazing group of children who are hungry to learn and curious about the world around them. This colorful rug will give each child a spot to call their own for whole-group and small-group instruction.
We will utilize this space for an interactive teacher read-aloud.
This rug will be a literacy center in my classroom where students will spend 20 minutes a day in small groups, where they will be able to pick books to read independently. This will be a place where students can show and tell, share personal stories, and watch science videos on the Promethean board.
