Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am trying to create a reading nook. I want to use the bean bag chairs to create an environment that is inviting and relaxing. This is where students will want to go and read. Sitting in a desk in uncomfortable when trying to enjoy Hunger Games. I want students to become lifelong readers, and I think a reading nook is just the right tool to use.

I also like to reward my students when they are doing iReady.

When students get a 100% on a quiz, I like to reward them with a little snack. It is very motivating for middle school students, and snacks are a huge part of the motivation.

I like to use the stickers on assignments for students, and when they answer questions correctly in class.
