This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Who doesn't need a brain break after working and thinking for a long amount of time? Kids especially need time to run around and release energy in order to wake up their brain and focus better.
Recess helps students to be able to play, refocus, and learn effectively.
Students love recess, and it ultimately improves student learning and concentration. To make recess fun and effective, I am asking for soccer balls, jump ropes, footballs, and other engaging sports and play equipment. Providing a variety of play equipment also allows students to develop social and emotional skills in order to better communicate and learn to get along with each other.
