Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help my classroom add a LGBTQ+ flag to our classroom and restock on some needed supplies.

My co-teacher and I want to demonstrate our support for the LGBTQ+ community amongst our students and would love the addition of a pride flag hanging in our classroom.

Since middle school can be challenging in terms of thinking about your identity, we want our students to know they can feel comfortable in our classroom.

We also are in need of supplies such as Swiffer pads, double sided scotch tape, pencil boxes, and mason jars. Some beautiful plastic mason jars would continue to support our behavior reward system. Throughout the week students can individually earn tickets for good student behavior such as actively listening and participation. At the end of the week, we draw a few tickets from their class plastic bag and award those students with a prize from our prize box.
