My Project

My students struggle to find a reason to work hard and learn. Behaviors often occur because of the need to urge students to try new things or overcome the challenge of learning. Behavior plans get created that include a need for reinforcement after a time is completed.

Toys are a great motivator for learning for my young autistic students.

As soon as they see the icon for sand, Goo Jit Zu's, or wind-up toys they will get excited about putting it on their token boards. Students who wouldn't sit in a sit or pick up a pencil will be willing to work to watch the animal wiggle across the table!
