My Students
This year my district is starting the school year off with distance learning! I teach at a low-income school and all students that will be entering my class this year are performing below grade-level. Despite this, I am up for the challenge of this new platform!
Last year I had a lot of success with integrating technology while in the classroom, and I am hoping, with the proper tools, I can make it even better while being fully online.
My Project
Our students are creative, silly, and love to try new things! However, most of our students are below grade level in both reading and math due to the COVID-19 slide. As a fifth-grade team, we are gearing up for virtual learning to help overcome any deficits to help our students' abilities soar!
TpT resources will go a long way to bridge the gap and keep them engaged when we utilize virtual choice boards and small group activities!
TptT has wonderful content that is already set up for virtual learning and aligned to VSOL standards.
