I am currently a third grade science teacher at my elementary school in Washington, D.C. My scholars are some of the brightest in the city! In science, we like to make science fun and engaging by participating in hands-on learning labs to understand real-life concepts!

In science, one of our units is Using Magnetic Force, where students learn about motion, forces, and magnetism. This is such a big, and somewhat abstract concept. With the addition of these books to our library, these concepts will be reinforced. It is important to have a print-rich classroom, and students are the most engaged when the literature they are reading is age-appropriate and filled with colorful pictures and text features. Help make our library even greater and even more science-y!
