These materials will help my students have a space to calm down when they are having big feelings!
I hold a very strong belief that children’s needs must be met before they can learn.
When a child is seeking love and safety because they are away from the comfort of their own home and family, they often express big emotions that can be difficult to calm down. Children aren’t born with the ability to regulate their emotions and they need to be given tools to help them work through their big feelings in kind ways. By donating to this project, you will be helping me to create a space for my students inside my classroom to regulate their bodies so they can be ready to learn!
