Regulation Station! Middle School and High School Sensory Room

Help me give my students at Saranac junior senior high a sensory room they deserve! A bubble wall would add calming visual input for students along with cozy seating and a weighted blanket to help with regulation.

My Project

The goal of this project is to create a sensory room at our school that does not have one. We have the best students who need some additional support to meet their daily sensory needs in school. Middle school and high school can be a stressful time for any student, but add sensory processing needs and your day can feel unsafe and overwhelming. I want to give our students some comfortable seating where they can calm their bodies using a weighted blanket. They can re regulate themselves with calming sounds and visual input from a bubble wall. Fidgets in their hands will held keep parts of their body moving while allowing other parts to slow down and relax.
