My Project

Creating a safe space for middle school-aged children in my counseling office is essential for their social-emotional learning and emotional well-being. Our space will feel safe, therapeutic, inclusive, and supportive of each student's needs. Students' needs may vary from emotion regulation, social cues, anger management, etc. All of their needs will be celebrated in this space. As a middle school counselor, I strive to provide a space that honors their exceptionalities. We will work collaboratively to build self-esteem, positive coping, and tangible skills. My students deserve a safe space that allows them to navigate their emotions and learn exceptionalities.
