My Project
I am a speech language pathologist at an elementary school and the bulk of my caseload is preschool students with high support needs. My main goal is to foster joy and support communication. One of my favorite sayings is *regulation before expectation*! My students need to be regulated before I can expect them to engage in activities and benefit from therapy. These materials will help me proactively support regulation and communication throughout the day.
I am requesting materials that support sensory regulation such as bubbles, light up spinner, sensory sock, storage bins to decrease visual overload in my room, story kits and velcro to adapt books and add sensory components to literacy.
