This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have seen the benefits of having tools in the classroom to help students identify and regulate their emotions. Designating time to read and lead discussions about emotions helps teach students how to handle BIG feelings.

A Little Spot of Emotions Bundle will help students recognize their feelings as well as how to manage them.

Students will absolutely love having the plush toys to accompany these stories. The stress balls and fluid timers will be a means of teaching students a way to manage their big emotions as well as calm themselves when they are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious.
