Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students learn best through hands-on exploration and remain engaged when given the opportunity to explore a variety of materials. In our classroom, we spend most of our time working together in small groups manipulating materials and building upon our skills-socially, physically and cognitively.

By engaging young minds in hands-on activities that involve observing, experimenting, and building, we encourage a natural inclination towards exploration and experimentation.

Children are often able to express themselves through play, by their actions, excitement shown on their faces as well as through their art. Please help me give my students science and art materials such as sand trays, wooden scoops, stones, beads, and fabric to provide them with opportunities to explore, discuss and actively engage in different projects of their interests.
