This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Regents Ready is a focused academic support initiative aimed at preparing high school students for success during the critical Regents exam season. The project provides free, high-quality tutoring, study materials, and wellness resources to students in grades 9–12. The program also addresses test anxiety and promotes mental wellness with mindfulness workshops and stress-relief kits. Students receive targeted instruction in core Regents subjects (Math, English, Science, History) from qualified educators and peers.

To support students during the high-stress Regents exam season, we're not only focusing on academic preparedness but also on their emotional well-being.

The Ultimate Variety Sampler Care Package will be used to create small care bags for students attending our Regents study sessions and boot camps. These snacks will provide a much-needed energy boost and offer a comforting, thoughtful touch that helps students feel supported and cared for. Having something to enjoy during breaks can reduce test anxiety, improve focus, and encourage participation, especially for students who may not have access to snacks at home. It's a small gesture that makes a big difference in creating a positive, motivating learning environment.
