This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students that need a calming setting to reduce their stress and anxiety. I have noticed by having right lighting, music and tools to show their artistic side, students will regain their focus easily and quickly. These strategies help the lowering of their anxiety. Afterwards, they are able to go back to class and focus on their academic work. The art supplies will help students to help themselves but also the school. I have an idea to paint shoes that would be donated separately. The white canvas would help to sketch the layout of the project for students who would rather work on the artistic side. The painters would paint the shoes and draw theme designs. Eventually, the goal is to put them in a showcase to be donated to children in need.
