My Project

Our students have been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz for the last several years. This is an amazing historical fiction book that chronicles the life of 3 refugees and the impact it has on their lives, family, and future. Many of our student population can relate as refugees themselves and this book allows them to find hope and understanding for all in what life is like being a refugee. It also teaches them about current and past world issues that are important in being the change we wish to see in our world.

Our paperback copies have all fallen apart over many years of reading this fantastic book and it is my goal that we will be able to get hardcopies of this book so that we can continue to read this wonderful book for years to come.
