My Project
Help out special needs students raise money for a new refrigerator. We are a District 75 school in Staten Island and our 3-5th grade students run a snack and coffee store. Recently, our refrigerator broke and we cannot run our snack store without one!
The money we raise goes towards out 5th grade graduation, 5th grade trip, plus many other trips and parties for our students throughout the year.
Some of our families have difficulty with the fees associated with these events, so we like to provide help to these families so their child can still participate in these events.
Our snack store is also a great opportunity for our students to practice skills such as running a store, shopping for supplies, using money to purchase and sell items, and working on socialization skills. The refrigerator will be used to put drinks and ice for our coffee store. With your help we can purchase a new refrigerator and start earning some money towards these great events.
