Elementary students are often limited to shelf stable snacks. It is my hope to offer refrigerated and frozen snacks as well! Yogurt, string cheese, fruits and vegetables, popsicles, and more could be added for students to enjoy. Having a fridge/freezer would enable students to enjoy a variety of foods. Being in school for 7 hours, students often need an afternoon snack to get them through the day. Healthy, fresh snacks will keep them going strong and provide better options than shelf stable foods. I hope this refrigeration station will help provide that to my students!
