Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the school librarian, I’m always looking for ways to engage and motivate my students to embrace the joy of reading. One simple but exciting way to do this is by offering them a refreshing treat during our library sessions. The Kisko Fruit Ice Pops will be a special treat for my library students especially during the warmer months. These ice pops will provide an enjoyable and energizing break, helping them stay focused and excited for reading and learning.
My goal is to create a fun and welcoming environment in the library where students feel motivated to explore new books and develop a love for reading.
With this project, I aim to give my students a reward that’s both delicious and refreshing, providing them with a moment of joy in between learning activities.
My students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds, and many of them have limited access to fun treats like these. For some, this may be the only time they get to enjoy an ice pop. By supporting this project, you’ll help make their library time even more memorable, allowing them to associate reading with positivity and excitement.
