Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the weather becomes warmer, many of my students are spending more time during recess playing with their friends in the yard. On especially hot, sunny days, students often come back to the classroom feeling parched and in need of the water fountain.

For this project, I am requesting supplies such as a water dispenser and disposable cups so that my students can hydrate after lunch without losing valuable instruction time when they leave the classroom for water.

These resources will also allow students to maximize learning time since they will have access to fresh, clean water in their classroom at any time during the day.

Moreover, as the school year has continued, many of our posters and wall hangings around the classroom are starting to peel off and are in need of updated command strips. All of the resources in this project will go towards revitalizing my students and our learning space.
