This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
With your help You can provide social emotional materials for our students. The two Social Emotional Lesson Resource books in this cart will help our students with unmet needs thrive in our small group instruction. When working with ECE-K students it is imperative to have social stories (the 31 book set in this project) to help them set expectations for certain scenarios that might arise in their day to day life these stories will help them learn how to cope with their emotions by providing them with real world examples. The carpet will help create a meeting space for when hold our restorative circles for when conflict a rises. Many items in this project will provide a new sensory brain break for students; kinetic sand, timers, and the sensory bags. The All of these materials will help give our students social emotional well being a much needed boost!
