Help me give my students basic supplies for their learning, i.e. folders to organize their work; dry erase markers for white boards; a crayon sharpener to use crayons longer; and ear buds for our listening center.

My Students
My classroom is a place of challenge and discovery. Students spend the year learning the foundation skills they will need as they move forward in their elementary education and throughout their lives. My students are 2nd graders in Utah.
They are excited to explore the world through hands-on exploration to expand their capacity for critical thinking.
It is important for me to help them learn to take pride in their efforts and be willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning.
My Project
Having basic supplies to refresh my classroom is just.....basic! We use folders to organize paperwork for our basic subjects such as Guided Math, Guided Reading, and Writing. These nicer plastic folders will last us all year. We love the fine-tip black expo markers to use on our individual white boards during lessons and group activities. They are just the right size for students to utilize especially in math where we practice many varied strategies and prove our thinking to each other via our white board. We would love to try out a crayon sharpener to help our crayons last longer throughout the year. Finally, we use ipod shuffles in our classroom for our listening center. We need some new ear buds that fit in student's ears better. We look forward to refreshing our basic supplies!
