My goals for this project are to refresh and replenish some of our most used items in our classroom! I asked my kids what our classroom needed to be the most effective and comfortable learning space and the items on our list are what they came up with!
When I asked the kids what their thought was for what needed to be refreshed or replenished, their first choice was to get light filters to make the room more comfortable and relaxing.
They said it would make the room more calming, which would help them get ready to work. They also mentioned how used our individual whiteboards are and the need for new erasers and markers. We use them quite often throughout the year to balance chemical equations, draw atoms, draw wave models, and so much more!
Many of our students don't have headphones, so they are constantly going to the office to purchase headphones so I would love to have a classroom set that can stay in my room, get sanitized, reused when needed! They also suggested a heat press, our current one gets used daily for their bead projects and is showing some wear and tear.
They also suggested posters and some new candy for when we play review games. It was really fun working on this list together!
