Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the past couple of years, so much has changed. With this, the needs of my students have changed. The impacts of COVID have created so many changes. Many students have found different ways of learning; some that work for them and some that don't work for them. Some students have found with changes in employment that they have had to take a larger role in their contributions to their family. Yet, some of the learning expectations stay the same. We need to be able to put students in the driver's seat of their own learning and support them in the ways that they need. Some students need snacks, depending on their home situation and their options for getting food to help them focus on their learning. Some need basics, like pens, pencils, lead or even notebooks. Some need headphones to utilize their blended learning materials. No matter what their needs are, we need to provide them so that students have what they need in order to take their learning to the next level.
