Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My goal is to create a classroom where students feel safe and organized so they can be successful. Having new things to decorate the classroom will make it look great and make it feel like a space all of my students would want to be in for five hours of their day. Also, with the ability of having supplies for my students who are in a Title I school and do not always have the funds to replenish our supplies when things inevitably run out.
The goals for this project are to give the students a space and items they need in order to be organized, safe, calm, and successful in our first-grade classroom.
What makes my students special is that they come from so many different countries with many different backgrounds. It is a joy to teach so many students with so many experiences, languages and lives to share into our community.
