My Project

Our high school hula hoop dance club is called the "Hoop Troupe", and I am on a mission to elevate this experience for our students by acquiring full-length mirrors to enhance our practice space.

These mirrors will not simply serve as reflective surfaces; they will act as portals to self-discovery and improvement.

In the realm of hula hoop dancing, precision is key, and the mirrors will offer real-time visual feedback to our students. As they sway, twirl, and learn new choreography the mirrors will become their trusted companions, allowing them to monitor each movement, refine techniques, and perfect routines with unparalleled precision.

The benefits of full-length mirrors extend beyond our dance space into the personal and educational lives of our students. The ability to see oneself in motion fosters a sense of self-awareness, building confidence that transcends the dance studio into everyday life. The mirrors become a tool for self-expression, enabling students to communicate through movement and build a unique identity that extends beyond the hula hoop. Educationally, the mirrors serve as catalysts for a holistic development approach. Our students, as they engage in the rhythmic and joyful world of hoop dance, not only refine their motor skills but also cultivate discipline and teamwork. The mirrors will guide them towards excellence, encouraging dedication and determination that resonates in their academic endeavors.

With the addition of full-length mirrors to our practice space, we envision a community where each of our dedicated, unique, and creative student's individual flair is refined and showcased. These mirrors are not just a reflection of movement; they are a reflection of the extraordinary talents and potential that our students possess.
