My Project
In our kindergarten classroom, art is more than just a creative outlet—it is a powerful way for students to express themselves, explore the world, and connect with one another. However, our current art supplies do not reflect the rich diversity of our students or the global community they are a part of. That’s why we are seeking support to bring multicultural art materials into our classroom.
This project will provide students with inclusive art tools such as skin-tone crayons, markers, paints, and culturally diverse crafting materials.
These resources will empower children to create artwork that more accurately represents themselves, their families, and the many cultures they are learning about. When students see their skin tones and cultural identities reflected in the materials they use, it fosters a sense of belonging, pride, and respect for others.
By funding this project, you are helping to cultivate a more inclusive and affirming learning environment—one where every child feels seen, valued, and celebrated. Your support will not only enhance our art activities, but also contribute to the development of empathy, cultural awareness, and self-confidence in our youngest learners. Together, we can ensure that every child has the tools to express their full, authentic selves through the power of art.
