My Students

I teach 5th and 6th grade band at four different schools in Fairfax County. I am blessed to have many caring and hardworking students who love playing their instruments.

With many instruments there are necessary supplies that are required to play that instrument; some students and their families are not able to afford these supplies.

I would like to raise money to purchase these supplies for my students so they may continue to express themselves and successfully play their instruments.

My Project

Students in the 5th and 6th grade in Fairfax County are able to sign up to play a band instrument! Students with financial need are able to rent an instrument from the school for a reduced cost. That cost however does not include reeds.

Students who play the clarinet, bass clarinet, or alto saxophone need a reed in order to make a sound on their instrument.

One box of reeds can cost around $25, however this cost may be too high for some families. Please consider donating to help me supply reeds to my students in need. Every donation counts and can help make a different no matter the size. Thank you!
