Reeds and Percussion Instruments for Our High Bands
Help me give my students some badly needed single use reeds and percussion ensemble instruments that we needed this year.

My Students
Our school is an urban school in downtown Salt Lake City.
Most students don't have a performance group to play with.
Our performing ensembles are a great way to get kids to experience success at what they can do. Learning the skills, dedication, perseverance and teamwork needed to be part of a performing group are the same skills they will need after high school in any other job or project they are involved in.
My Project
All of my single use reeds have been used during covid. I need these supplies so students can play their instruments at home. I have also loaned out some percussion equipment that helps kids practice at home.
I have several students that cannot afford to buy reeds for their instruments.
This project will give me a year supply of reeds.
When kids have good equipment to practice and perform on, they are more motivated to improve their skills and spend more time perfecting their craft. Some of our current cymbal stands are falling apart and cannot safely hold a cymbal.
