Help me give my students Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Headphones for when they need a space to calm down and relax, cancelling out noise and listening to calming music, helping them to get back to their day constructively.

My Project

Surrounded by distractions and external noises, many students may feel overwhelmed and anxious, which can negatively impact their academic, social, emotional, behavioral skills, and their entire wellbeing. Noise-cancelling headphones create a sense of calm and quiet, alleviating these negative feelings and reducing stress levels.

Many times students need a quiet, calm space when they are dysregulated.

Often they are not allowed to use headphones or listen to music, and generally do not like the look of bulky noise cancelling headphones that are often used for testing purposes. These headphones will allow them to have a space to cancel out noise while also listening to calming music or sounds. Noise-cancelling headphones and music can help you feel calm by reducing stress and anxiety, and creating a more focused environment. These headphones will benefit from special education students who may need a break space when dysregulated.

When an identified student may need to reduce external stress/over stimulation, they may use the headphones and choose calming music, nature sounds, etc. as an intervention to return to a calmer space in efforts to constructively return to their day.
