My students need a blender and papermaking kit so we can recycle paper in the art room!

My Students

In a school of 730 little artists, we make a lot of art projects in a year. Unfortunately, we also make a lot paper waste in the creative process. Help us reduce our paper waste and turn those scraps into beautiful sheets of hand crafted paper!

Our school is a Title I school attended by over 700 diverse first through fifth graders.

I would describe my students as aspiring artists who love to create mix media projects. My students impress me everyday with their hard work and problem solving skills they bring to the art room.

My Project

Students will use the blender and paper making kit to recycle scrap construction paper, manila paper, and drawing paper to make beautiful sheets of handcrafted paper for projects. With the requested materials, students will get to experience recycling and reduce the paper waste in the art room.

Donations to this project will improve the lives of my students by giving them a hands on experience recycling and reducing paper waste.

I want my students to see that they can help the environment and our art room by actively saving their paper scraps. I believe that the blender and paper making kit will inspire my students to look for more ways to recycle in the art room.
