My Project

The beginning of the school year is soon approaching. While I prepare for the incoming group, I have also been able to assess some of my existing resources in the classroom. Instead of a rug request, why not do a deep clean of the ones that I have for a lower cost? The mini carpet cleaner will come in handy while I prepare the classroom environment for new students. I have about four carpets that are still in their good years and only require a good deep cleaning to remove previous years of usage. Included with the carpet cleaner are two solutions to mix for efficient cleaning. Students can find comfort in being able to rest and gather on a clean surface. I would also find comfort in knowing this as well!

During this time of the school year, I find myself having to channel my inner Bob the Builder with assembly and breaking down boxes.

Instead of making multiple attempts to the recycling bin outside in my failed attempt at breaking down boxes, electric scissors will do the trick along with additional blades for unboxing throughout the school year. We receive many packages throughout the year for students, and this will help make breaking down boxes much easier and faster as I can get students to assist me with this task.

The mailboxes will assist us with organization and students knowing where to receive and place assignments. I haven't used this method in quite some time, but I remember how helpful it was with organization in my classroom. The goal is that students will have a clear and defined space for important work throughout the school day/week.
