My first grade class is comprised of 21 eager learners. They are kind, caring, and love helping others. They are each unique and very special and I go out of my way each day to remind them of that.
My first graders come from a rough area and go through more than what most kids do, but they do not let that stop them from working hard toward their goals.
They love to learn and have learned to persevere through tough times.
My Project
My students want seating that allows them to have choice and flexibility. These spaces will provide space for students to think creatively and to move while still sitting and working.
Research shows that kids perform better when they are learning while having fun.
Kids also deserve to have a choice in seating the same way adults do while working.
I want to offer multiple options for my students to feel comfortable, safe and relaxed in their learning environment (our classroom). I want to do everything I can to help my students to be successful.
