This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is in the process of redesign, and I look forward to providing opportunities for my students that extend their learning and develop their interests. Elementary-aged students need a variety of experiences in their education, and we need to go beyond the district curriculum in order to achieve this.

I am excited to develop a veterinary science curriculum, inspire children’s love of gardening, and broaden their ideas of up-cycling.

The tools I have chosen will help enhance my students’ love of learning, inspire future endeavors, and build self-confidence. I have seen a change in our students; I simply want to continue to be able to support our students in this wonderful redesign.
