Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school campus is set up in 3 levels. The main building level, then there is the middle yard level, and finally the upper yard level. We have some recycling bins in the classrooms, but we need more in the cafeteria, in the science labs, music room, art class, in the middle yard, and in the upper yard.
As a STEAM Magnet, our students are ready to be more environmentally friendly.
The bins would help us achieve our goal of having a sustainable campus. An environmentally oriented campus that integrates environmental science with our scholarly activities.
