My Project

Hello,

These recycling boxes will help me to start a recycling program at my school for transition aged young adults as a way to begin to teach them work skills and raise money.

We are a special needs program in Bakersfield, CA, called ABLE (Adult Based Life Experiences). The students are 18-22 years old and still a part of our high school district.

The students will gain valuable work/prevocational skills while also saving the money earned for enrichment activities. Previously, in another school, we were able to take the students to a Dodger game!
