This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project's materials will be divided 5 ways.

Classrooms use pens and pencils.

Classrooms use sticky notes. Classrooms use posters. When possible, recycled options can be a reasonably low-effort way to show students making small changes matters.

My students do care about each other. They are generally, as a group of students, caring more about the environment. I want to keep that interest going, and part of that involves making small changes in what they see daily. Not everyone recycles at home. Not everyone composts at home. They do notice small details when you least expect it.
