This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are an engaged 3rd grade classroom with 20 students. New to the building, incoming students and I are starting fresh. We are the melting pot of Buffalo with students and teachers from many different countries, cultures, and backgrounds.
We turn our life experiences into learning!
We are saying goodbye to one chapter and hello to the next! Change is good but can be hard at times. My students and I are arriving from an early elementary site, pre-k thru 2nd, we will be on this new journey together! Education is a priority but trust and a sense of community will help our curriculum succeed. Please consider donating to our fresh new start!
My Project
During each lesson, student centered questioning is a necessity.
To consistently engage students, keep them accountable and save on paper, white boards are a great classroom, resource!
They double as a (clip) board for flexible seating.
You can’t use a whiteboard without markers, no matter the age group those markers fade fast.
Our students cannot afford to supply these themselves. We use whiteboards in every grade level, for every subject ,everyday. Whether students are responding to a question, sharing an opinion, simply showing understanding, their personal whiteboard will come in handy! Keeping their whiteboard clean and keeping their dry erase marker close by will also teach responsibility! Help us be responsible for our learning!
