Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
What better way to revisit history's past than to recreate it? That's what the future historians of SOFLO plan to do! Throughout the course of history many ancient artifacts and relics have been left behind for museums to study.
Far out of our physical reach and only viewable through books and virtual museum tours this project's goal is to recreate those artifacts to life in our classroom.
As we travel through ancient history we will use the clay to create these artifacts such as the Terracotta Soldiers, King Tut's tomb, and Parthenon to name a few.
This project will make a difference in scholars knowledge as they research and model the artifacts themselves, this will increase scholars ability to identify and retain important key points in ancient history.
